Shell is a global group of energy and petrochemical companies with an average of 92,000 employees in more than 70 countries. They have a group revenue of approx. $ 234 billion, with an income of $ 4.8 billion. I worked for Shell in two different interim assignments of 8 months each, when I was with Atos Consulting (separate portfolio item).
One role was as Global Application Manager HR IT for Strategy & Talent and Pay. Task was to ensure that the portfolio of HR IT applications developed, delivered and used by Strategy, Talent & Pay globally (includes applications worldwide, in all operating companies and service companies) was fit for purpose and optimally supports the business. Integration of local HR IT solutions into the generic Shell HR IT environment. Including HR IT Strategy development and execution, SAP HCM development and blueprinting.
The other role was as Program Manager Strategy, Talent and Pay and Interim Team Lead Business Analysts. Main focus was Program Management for all Talent Management IT solutions; define HR IT Strategy on Talent for the next 5 years, Initiate Talent Management solution projects, Business Analyst Team Lead Talent. Integration of local HR IT solutions into the generic Shell HR IT environment.

When you have a dream that you can't let go of, trust your instincts and pursue it. But remember: real dreams take work, they take patience and sometimes they require you to dig down very deep. Be sure you're willing to do that.
